If you’re reading this, chances are you’re just like me - you eat, sleep and breathe basketball and gaming. Your days are spent glued to the TV watching NBA games or livestreaming on Twitch. You debate LeBron vs. MJ and know your Call of Duty kill-death ratio by heart. In other words, you’re a baller, a gamer, a hoophead - and most importantly, you’re squad. Consider this your official invite to join the crew. In the Arena, we’ll talk about all the stuff that really matter to us - breaking down the latest video game releases, recapping the sickest dunks, and ranking the greatest basketball kicks of all time. We’ll debate which NBA team is poised for a championship run and which esports athlete deserves MVP.

All About Me and My Passion for Basketball and Gaming

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve had two major passions: basketball and gaming. Some might see those interests as opposites, but for me they’re two sides of the same coin. On the court, I’m all about teamwork, competition and pushing myself to be better. I grew up idolizing players like Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Their skill, determination and love of the game inspire me to become legendary in my unique way.

When I’m not watching basketball, you can find me gaming. I’ve been a hardcore gamer my whole life. I’m into all genres - sports (of course!), action/adventure, RPGs, puzzle games. Gaming is a chance for me to challenge myself in a different way, get lost in imaginative worlds and connect with friends online.

My goal with this blog which I've affectionately dubbed the OB-1 Arena is to share my passion for basketball and gaming with all of you. I’ll be discussing the game of basketball around the world, reviewing the latest basketball shoes and gear, previewing must-play video games, and lots more. Think of this as your home for all things related to basketball, gaming and the crossover between the two. Some of the biggest sneakerheads I know are also big basketball fans. I'll keep you in the loop on the latest basketball shoe releases from brands like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour and more. I might even share details on where to cop the freshest kicks. I'll also be discussing other gear like jerseys, clothing collabs and must-have accessories.
